First Annual MINI 500 Race
NASCAR SpeedPark in Myrtle Beach and its charitable arm PARC Foundation teamed up with Junior Achievement of Coastal South Carolina on March 14th to fundraise for the Financial Literacy Program. The program prepares youth for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and mange it effectively. Each year, 382,637 Junior Achievement volunteers teach 403,849 classes to 9,866,143 students. During the MINI 500 Race, Junior Achievement members were split into five teams that raced each other around the NASCAR SpeedPark fast tracks. The event raised over $2,700 for the program. PARC Foundation and NASCAR SpeedPark are happy to support this great cause.
