"I am ecstatic to partner with Elitch Gardens, PARC Foundation and the Denver Leadership Foundation on the ‘Carload for Caring’ initiative, said Billups. "I am not afraid of a clock with only seconds remaining and I’m willing to take the ‘big shot’ to help my team win. And I’m not afraid to take the ‘big shot’ to help kids and families in Denver who need help the most."

The Carload for Caring campaign will conclude on Saturday September 26th when Billups will personally give the keys to the winner.

"I encourage all Nuggets fans and citizens of Denver to step up," said Billups. "Help change our community by spending a day at Elitch Gardens and buying a ticket for ‘Carload for Caring’ and help the Chauncey Billups Foundation, the Denver Leadership Foundation and PARC Foundation."

PARC FOUNDATION
PARC Foundation’s mission is improving the lives of children and families in the greater Denver region. We provide financial support and establish partnerships with faith-based and community organizations such as the Chauncey Billups Foundation and the Denver Leadership Foundation to achieve our mission. PARC Foundation was created to give employees, patrons, vendors, partners, and our parks such as Elitch Gardens, an inspiring way to give back to their community.

CHAUNCEY BILLUPS FOUNDATION
Founded by Denver Nuggets’ All Star player Chauncey Billups, the Chauncey Billups Foundation primary focus is identifying and nurturing youth with the potential to become future leaders in the Denver region.

This objective will be accomplished by partnering with non-profit and faith based organizations that provide leadership and life skills training such as Whiz Kids, Boys and Girls Club and the Denver Nuggets Foundation.

DENVER LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION
For over twenty years the Denver Leadership Foundation has created, nurtured and expanded programs for at risk kids and families by partnering with non-profit and governmental agencies that provide education, leadership, mentoring and life skill programs.

Denver Leadership Foundation programs such as Whiz Kids, the Mayor’s Council for the Homeless and COMPA Food ministries, has served thousands of children and families and helped them transition into more productive and sustainable lives.
