PARC FOUNDATION RAISES OVER $6,000 FOR GRAND STRAND MIRACLE LEAGUE
A Combined Effort from PARC Properties: NASCAR SpeedPark, Myrtle Waves Water Park, Pavilion Nostalgia Park
PARC Foundation, the charitable arm PARC Management, is committed to supporting nonprofits in our local communities that support the Foundation’s mission of strengthening children and families. For the 2011 Season, PARC Foundation teamed up with Myrtle Waves Water Park, NASCAR SpeedPark, and Pavilion Nostalgia Park to raise funds for the Grand Strand Miracle League.
To promote local fundraising efforts park employees at each of the PARC properties asked guests if they were interested in donating $1 to the charity during their purchase. Park guests and employees contributed to this campaign from July 4 – August 31st. This effort resulted in raising over $6,000.00 for the Grand Strand Miracle League.
In addition to fundraising, each park used social media to leverage their virtual marketing efforts and gain community involvement with the Grand Strand Miracle League, through volunteering or attending a game.
