PARC Foundation, K104.7 and Project HALO
Team Up to Feed Hungry Pets
On Sunday, May 15th, PARC Foundation, the charitable arm of NASCAR SpeedPark Concord, North
Carolina, teamed up with the K104.7 street team and Project HALO (Helping Animals Live On) to help
feed hungry pets. Participants brought unopened wet and dry dog food and received $2 off an
Unlimited Ride Wristband to NASCAR SpeedPark in Concord. All the pet food collected was donated to
Project HALO.
Project HALO, is a non‐profit organization that rescues homeless, stray and unwanted dogs and gives
them a second chance, providing a safe and loving foster home along with any medical attention they
may need while looking for permanent loving homes to adopt them. All of Project HALO’s animals are
sprayed or neutered and are vet current at the time of their adoption. Project HALO is 100% volunteer
organization and are funded privately by generous donors.
PARC Foundation plans to team up with these organizations three more times this year. The next Pet
Adoption is scheduled for June 25th.
